This weekend, when we continue with Season 32 of The Simpsons, we will see (rather than hear) the return of a voice we haven't heard in quite some time.

It's Marsha Wallace, the original voice actor who delivers the dry wit of fourth grade teacher Edna Crabapple at Springfield Elementary School. Bart will hear her in an episode titled "Diary Queen" when he finds some of her old writings.

Wallace died on October 25, 2013 at the age of 70.

According to the press release for this episode, Bart "learns a startling secret" from her diary. Meanwhile, "Lisa discovers an even bigger surprise."
