Forget the MacBook Pro2021 - this dock has all the ports and slots you need

Those following the MacBook Pro 2021 rumors know that Apple's next high-end laptop is about to get some of the ports it lost in 2016 when Apple threw everything away for Thunderbolt 3 USB-C. But for those who don't want to wait, Razer has a new option.

Introducing the Razer Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma. This product has all the ports you could ask for, plus RGB lighting (synced via Razer Synapse). To get these 10 ports in such a pretty package costs quite a bit: $329 to be exact.

Here's the full list of ports:

Of these, the next MacBook Pro is rumored to have an SD reader; USB-C will continue to be included, and MagSafe will return; and the next MacBook Pro will have a USB port for the MacBook Pro.

As for supported displays, the dock will offer dual 4K panels at 60Hz or output to a single 8K screen at 30Hz.

One of the TB4 ports, an SD reader, and headphone jack are on the front, the rest on the back; even though the Mac does not yet have Thunderbolt 4, it should be compatible; Razer Windows 10 and macOS laptop compatibility, Thunderbolt 3 ports if available.

The Razer page notes that "only one video output is supported on the M1 MacBook." Also, Intel-based Macs require at least a Thunderbolt 3 port while running macOS 11.1 (Big Sur) or later.

But for those who want a dock that fits all ports and RGB desktops, this looks like a good (though pricey) option.

And the Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma provides up to 90 watts of power via the TB4 port to power your PC in a handy way. This is because it has its own power input.
