Cobra Meeting Season 4 Release date, Cast and other news

"Cobra Kai" Season 4 is coming. Hey, don't kick the messenger around; Netflix released "Cobra Kai" Season 3 on New Year's Day, and fans are already clamoring for more episodes.

The Karate Kid sequel series has been a Netflix hit since it migrated from YouTube in August 2020. Season 3 debuted at #1 on the Netflix Top 10 list after its debut. Season 4 is likely to be just as popular, but when will it be available?

Spoilers for the entire "Cobra Society" series, including Season 3.

The recent "Cobra Kai" finale saw former teen karate rivals Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) put aside their longstanding feud and Johnny's former mentor, the sadistic John Cleese (Martin Cove) The film ended with them teaming up to take on the They unite their dueling dojos, Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang, to challenge Cobra Kai at the All Valley Karate Tournament.

If Daniel and Johnny's students win, Cleese leaves for good. But Cleese always plays dirty tricks. This time, he may bring in an old, even nastier associate, as anyone who has seen "Karate Kid Part III" knows.

Here's what we know so far about Cobra Kai Season 4.

Netflix has not yet set a release date for "Cobra Kai" Season 4.

In October, showrunner Jon Hurwitz revealed on Twitter that the writers had completed all of the scripts for Season 4.

According to ProductionWeekly, filming will take place in Atlanta from January 20 to April 15.

The first two seasons of "Cobra Kai" took about six months from filming to release. Season 3, however, took a year. Based on these schedules, it is estimated that Season 4 will be released in late fall 2021.

The cast of Season 4 of Cobra Kai will continue to feature William Zabka as Johnny and Ralph Macchio as Daniel Larusso. Also returning are Martin Cove as John Cleese and students from a rival dojo:

Courtney Henggeler as Amanda Larusso (Daniel's wife) and Vanessa Rubio as Carmen Diaz (Miguel's mother) will also return.

Based on events in the finale, Thomas Ian Griffiths, who played the villain Terry Silver in the film Karate Kid Part III, may appear. Details are below.

Not expected to return in the Season 3 cast are Yuji Okumoto as Chozen and Tamlyn Tomita as Kumiko, whom Daniel reunited with on a trip to Okinawa. It is also unlikely that Elizabeth Shue will reprise her role as Ali, Johnny and Daniel's former love interest who visited them in passing on holiday.

The third season ended with another all-out brawl, this time pitting Cobra Kai students against their former friends (now part of the Eagle Fang Dojo) and members of Miyagi Road. And it took place at the Larusso home.

Johnny and Daniel confronted John Cleese at the Cobra Kai dojo and threatened to do anything to stop him. Cleese offered them a deal: if they won the revived All Valley Tournament, he would leave town. The next day, Johnny and Daniel teamed up to train students at the merged dojo.

At the end of the finale, Cleese called his old Vietnam buddy Terry Silver (season 3 featured flashbacks of their time as POWs). Terry is a wealthy businessman who financed Cobra Kai. He was the main villain in Karate Kid Part III, funding the "karate bad boys" to take revenge on Daniel and Mr. Miyagi.

Terry once again joined forces with Creese, seemingly to put Johnny and Daniel's volatile alliance to the test.

Terry's return makes a lot of sense. Cobra Chi is incorporating more and more elements from the film. In Season 3, characters Kumiko and Chozen from Karate Kid Part II were introduced, and Ali (Daniel and Johnny's love interest in the first film) made a major cameo appearance. Season 5 may see the return of Hilary Swank from The Next Karate Kid.

Other storylines for "Cobra Kai" Season 4 are expected to include more drama in the love triangle between Samantha, Miguel, and Robbie. There may also be some movement in the romance between Johnny and Miguel's mother, Carmen.
