What's New on Netflix 2021/2: Shows, Movies and Original Series

Netflix's new programming schedule for February 2021 has been announced. This month will feature new originals, new comedy specials, and lots of new movies.

Netflix is releasing at least one important movie every week. We highlighted 15 of the most exciting Netflix movies for 2021, some of which will be released in February: Always and Forever and Malcolm and Marie.

Netflix's new release calendar also includes an inspiring documentary on the legendary soccer player Pele, the culinary delight "Nadiya Bakes," and the long-awaited series adaptation of the best-selling novel "Firefly Hikari."

And the streaming service is adding more titles to its vast library, including past favorites Inception, My Best Friends Wedding, and Patriot.

Kristin Hannah's popular novel is getting the Netflix treatment, with Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke playing the roles of Tully and Kate, two girls who meet on Firefly Street and become inseparable best friends. After 30 years of ups and downs, their bond grows even stronger.

This "ode to the great Hollywood romance" is a film by Emmy Award winner Zendaya from "Hibike! Euphoria" creator Sam Levinson teams up once again. The romantic drama also stars John David Washington as her filmmaker boyfriend. The couple returns home from the premiere of his film, where they engage in an intimate and heated argument.

Coming to Netflix on February 5

Just in time for Valentine's Day, the third and final film in the teen romantic comedy trilogy, Always and Forever features Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and her boyfriend Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) enter their senior year of high school and take on iconic events like prom and graduation. But their relationship is put to the test as they contemplate college and the future.
