Live Stream of NFL Pro Bowl 2021 to Begin Like many events, the Pro Bowl was radically reshaped by the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing the league to call a major hearing.

Instead of broadcasting the football game live at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on January 31 as originally scheduled, the league will instead host a virtual Pro Bowl one week after the live stream of Super Bowl 2021, the very same Sunday, for the Virtual Football Showdown will be held for one week.

Along with EA Sports, the NFL will invite players, alumni, celebrities, and steamers to a week-long event, The NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz. The tournament will be hosted by NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, NFL alumnus Maurice Jones-Drew, and NFL Networks' MJ Acosta-Lewis.

Nine Pro Bowlers and one NFL alum will face off virtually in real time using the VERZUZ battle format to see who will win in various categories. Spectators can follow the showdown between Justin Jefferson (Vikings) and A.J. Brown (Titans) and others on @NFL Social (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook) and @VerzuzTV on Instagram. For more information, check out the NFL Pro Bowl Verzuz Viewing Guide.

And on Sunday, a virtual Pro Bowl will be played at EA Sports' Madden 21 with the actual 2021 Pro Bowl roster announced in December; AFC teams will include Deshaun Watson (Texans), Derrick Henry (Titans), Snoop Dogg ( Hip Hop Icon), and Keyshawn Johnson (NFL alum) will play; the NFC will feature Kyler Murray (Cardinals), Jamal Adams (Seahawks), Bubba Wallace (NASCAR), and Marshawn Lynch (NFL alum).

Each player will play five minutes per quarter, yet to be determined. Fans can watch this virtual Pro Bowl live on the NFL's YouTube channel, the league's Twitter and Facebook pages, and the EA Madden NFL's Twitch channel beginning Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.

Of course, it wouldn't be an NFL event without a pre-game show. For those who want more football fun, ESPN and ABC will host a pregame show. The 2021 Pro Bowl Celebration will begin at 3 p.m. ET/noon ET on Sunday and will include the elements of the week that was the NFL Pro Bowl Verses, plus the season film breakdown and a panel discussion with current and former players.

The NFL plans to conduct next year's Pro Bowl in a more conventional manner, on the field, and the venue will still be the Las Vegas Raiders' Allegiant Stadium.

As for the game itself, Virtual Pro Bowl 2021 will begin at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 31, and can be watched on the EA Madden NFL Twitch page and the NFL's social media accounts:
