UFC257 Live Stream: How to Watch Mcgregor vs Poirier 2 Online and Start Time

UFC 257 live streaming has arrived! The headliner is Conor McGregor's return fight, Poirier vs. McGregor 2. The last time the two fought, at UFC 178 in September 2014, McGregor ended the fight early with a first-round TKO.

Despite that result, McGregor is not expected to repeat that quick smash this time around; Poirier's loss at UFC 178 was his last bout at featherweight, after which he would move up to the 155-pound lightweight division.

Here's everything you need to know about the UFC 257 live stream, including recent changes to the main card and prelims.

This is McGregor's third time competing in the lightweight division in his UFC career. He won the title in 2016 by knocking out Eddie Alvarez and lost it in his next defense against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

At the UFC 257 press conference on Thursday morning, McGregor and Poirier engaged in a fierce but entertaining and professional standoff after answering questions from the media; if there is animosity between the two, it is not as big a priority for them as making money, as they have been doing for years.

Online, most experts are picking McGregor, and bookies are predicting a McGregor win; at last check, DraftKings has him as a -305 moneyline favorite to Poirier's +250.

This is McGregor's first fight in over a year, and his last time inside the octagon was a first-round TKO win over Donald Cerrone in a welterweight bout on January 18. In his last fight, he lost by neck crank submission to Nurmagomedov, who retired in October 2018 after four rounds.

Although Nurmagomedov has announced his retirement, he remains the champion. And since UFC president Dana White is a consummate promoter, he has given notice of a possible return to Khabib if any of the top four lightweights on the card (McGregor, Poirier, Michael Chandler, and Dan Hooker) perform well enough to tempt Khabib to return.

In any case, Justin Gesje is only the top-ranked interim champion, so one can expect to see clear signs as to who will challenge for the lightweight title in this fight.

The UFC 257 live streaming undercard has been changed; the UFC has removed Ottoman Azaita from the card for violating the promotion's health and safety protocols by bringing an unauthorized guest to Fight Island.

Matt Frevola, whom Azaiter was scheduled to face, was moved to the main prelims to face Arman Tsarukyan. Tsarukyan's opponent, Nasrat Hakpalast, has been forced to sit out due to illness. [| you can do it so that you can really come across that you can actually forget about my partner and i promise, anyone who quickly just ignores these seemingly exactly how {} people. And since the main preliminaries will be on both ESPN and ESPN Plus, those who have not yet subscribed to the latter can get a taste of it all for themselves before paying for it.

The former is available on most cable packages and on the two best streaming services, including Sling TV and FuboTV.

The UFC 257 early prelim fights will begin at 6:15 PM ET on UFC FightPass for $9.99 per month. After that, the top set of prelim fights begin at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
