Samsung Galaxy S21 official image leaked just before launch

Samsung's Galaxy S21 launch event is just over a day away, but the company seems to be rapidly running out of things to announce. Leaks continue to follow, the latest of which includes a series of marketing images showcasing some of the features we can expect.

These new images are by Roland Quandt of WinFuture, and while they don't reveal anything we haven't heard, they do mean that much of what we already know is true.

The images in question offer standard flagship features such as water and dust resistance, 5G, a high-resolution camera (64MP in this case), and up to 512GB storage capacity. The rumored dual-zoom system is also mentioned, which is said to be exclusive to the S21 Ultra, with 3x and 10x optical zoom lenses.

Somewhat interestingly, however, the image shows a standard Galaxy S21 instead. Given that there are only three camera lenses, there is nowhere for the two zoom lenses to go.

Quandt says that Samsung only started boasting about built-in storage after removing (again) the microSD card slot, but that is not entirely true; the Galaxy S10, with a 512GB model and a built-in 512GB microSD card, would provide up to 1 TB of storage, and marketing did not hide this fact.

If that wasn't enough, Quandt also revealed the new "custom colors" that the Galaxy S21 will offer. These colors go beyond the black, white, and pink variations we've already seen.

As seen in the image above, the S21 Ultra will come in brown and dark blue, while the S21 will come in solid red. What makes these new colors "custom" is not clear, and there are numerous possibilities, so we cannot really speculate. Nevertheless, new colors are always beneficial, and as the Galaxy S20 FE has shown, more variety means there is something for everyone's taste.

The Galaxy Unpacked launch event for the Galaxy S21 is tomorrow (January 14), when the new phone series will be unveiled along with the Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy SmartTag key finder. the S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra will feature 6.2, 6.7, and 6.8-inch displays and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chipset in the US

The S21 Ultra will feature QHD+ resolution and adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, while the other two models will feature FHD+ and limited to a static 120Hz refresh rate. The Ultra will also be the first Galaxy S smartphone to support the S Pen.
