Samsung Galaxy S21 leak confirms there is no charger in the box - after mocking Apple

The Samsung Galaxy S21 continues to leak. This time, regular tipster Ishan Agarwal wrote in a now-deleted tweet (below) that the Galaxy S21 will not only be sold without a charger included, following the example of the iPhone 12, but will also omit the included headphones.

This is a pretty deep cut on Samsung's part, since the Galaxy S20 was bundled with a charger and a set of wired earphones; Agarwal specified that his knowledge of the components being removed was only confirmed for the UK launch, which Samsung will remove the charger and headphones for other regions, consistent with earlier rumors that the USB charging cable will be the only accessory.

Allegedly, Samsung had already deleted a Facebook post from its main account making fun of Apple's decision to remove the charger from the iPhone 12 box. after the Galaxy S20 is bundled with headphones, will Samsung really discontinue headphones? Will it?

We also reported that Samsung is also close to releasing a new premium true wireless earphone, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. These too have been leaked relentlessly, so we already know a lot about their design and features, including active noise cancellation and AirPods Pro-style spatial audio modes. And why give away a free pair of Buds when they are ready to be sold alongside the less expensive Galaxy Buds Live?

We expect both the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Buds Pro to be officially unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 14. Samsung has already begun pre-orders of the Galaxy S21 for the "next Galaxy," presumably for those who don't mind not having a charger.
