Samsung Galaxy S21 plus benchmark just leaked - and iPhone12 is laughing

Leaked information about the performance of the Galaxy S21, which is expected to be announced next month, is already circulating on the Internet, but it pales in comparison to the iPhone 12.

The Galaxy S21 line is expected to ship with two different processor configurations. In general, the Galaxy will ship with a Snapdragon processor in the U.S., and Samsung's Exynos in the rest of the world; benchmarks of the Snapdragon 888 have been posted on Geekbench for some time, but Samsung's new Exynos 2100 Many are interested to see what it can offer. [In single-core performance, the Exynos 2100 in the Galaxy S21 Plus (SM-G996B) recorded 1,040. For multi-core, it recorded 3,107. While these are significant improvements over past Snapdragon and Exynos processors, neither is as good as the iPhone 12 Pro.

In contrast, the iPhone 12 Pro's A14 chip scored 1,585 in the single-core benchmark and 3,926 in the multi-core benchmark. Single-core performance is 500 points higher than Samsung's latest model, meaning the iPhone 12 is likely to be faster than a comparable Android.

Curiously, the S21 Plus seemed to outperform the S21 Ultra in the test. The S21 also has 8GB of RAM compared to the S21 Ultra's 12GB of RAM.

As for users who purchased the Snapdragon 888 versions of the S21 and S21 Plus, both models scored 1,075 and 1,120 in single-core, respectively. In multi-core, both models recorded scores of 2,196 and 3,319. Based on these scores, the Snapdragon processors perform slightly better than the Exynos in the region.

It should be noted that numbers are not everything; Geekbench scores only paint one side of the picture. However, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 pro outperform Samsung phones in graphics tests and real-world video transcoding tests, as you can see in our iPhone 12 benchmark overview.

And we don't think the Galaxy S21 will ever catch up to Apple.
