Stunning Samsung Galaxy Scroll video shows off the next big thing on the phone

We've already heard that Samsung may be looking at devices with scrollable screens as well as foldable phones. And now, thanks to a new concept video, we can get a good look at what the rumored Galaxy Scroll could look like.

The stunning Galaxy Scroll concept video, created by Dutch 3D designer Jermaine Smit in collaboration with LetsGoDigital, shows the Samsung Galaxy Note 20's S Pen being used to control the phone and immediately makes us want our own The video makes you want to get your own device right away. If the Galaxy Scroll depicted in the video looked any more realistic, you'd wonder if it was real.

In the concept video, a shiny S Pen is removed from the phone's storage slot and surrounds the phone before floating above the screen.

The S Pen may be one of the highlights of the Smit video, but it is not the only notable feature. In this video, which purportedly shows a rollable Galaxy Note, we can see how the screen expands, as well as the triple rear camera array on the back of the device.

It is not such a leap of logic that this new model will have one of the Galaxy Note's signature features. Rumors suggest that support for the S Pen may be added to one of the Galaxy S21 models to be released next year, and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which will be released later this year, may also include a stylus.

The video was released at a time when Samsung appears to be focusing more attention on foldable devices. In addition to the recently surfaced rumors about the Galaxy Scroll, details about the Galaxy Z Fold 3, which is expected to appear in late 2021, have been leaked by leaked sources.

With its rumored stylus and large screen, the upcoming Fold could take the Galaxy Note's place as Samsung's productivity-oriented phone.

Samsung has not commented on its future phone plans, but we are getting a sense of when the company might roll out some of these new devices.

The Galaxy S21 could arrive as early as January, and Samsung is looking to give a boost to sales of its next flagship, as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 could be released in late summer, when it was previously reserved for the Galaxy Note.

It is unclear how Samsung will fit the Galaxy Scroll into these launches, or even if a launch is imminent.

For now, we are left with this drool-worthy concept that at least gives us a good idea of what a Samsung phone that scrolls should look like should it arrive sometime soon.
