In a statement, CBS said, "The White House's unprecedented decision to ignore its agreement with CBS News to release the footage will not prevent 60 MINUTES from providing the full, fair, and contextual coverage that presidents have participated in for decades." He stated. As the most-watched news program on television, 60 MINUTES is widely respected for providing viewers with its signature fairness, in-depth reporting, and informative context each week.
