According to leaker Jon Prosser, a special event is scheduled for November, during which Apple will unveil details of its upcoming Apple Silicon Mac, known as the "ARM Mac." Bloomberg previously reported that Apple plans to unveil its first Apple Silicon Mac at a special event in November, in addition to "other products." These probably refer to additional updates to Mac products that will continue to utilize Intel-based chips. Apple has indicated in the past that it will continue to use Intel processors in addition to its own ARM chips while it works to complete its transition to ARM.

Prosser does not have a perfect track record when it comes to leaks, but given that his claims tend to match what other rumors have shown in the past, it is believable that an event is at least possible in November. And he correctly predicted that rumored products like Apple AirTags and AirPods Studio would not be included in this week's iPhone 12 announcement.

At that event, Apple showed off its all-new iPhone 12 line and HomePod mini speaker. It makes sense that Apple would postpone additional products to another launch, focusing only on cell phones in October and computing solutions in November. At this point, we are just waiting for the shoe to drop from Apple.
