That's $50 off the regular price of $129, the lowest price we've seen on this Kindle. In other words, not only is it cheaper than the regular Kindle, but the Kindle Kids Edition is also a better value than the basic Kindle!

Looking for an Amazon tablet instead? The excellent Fire HD 10 is also discounted to $79. There are so many things you can do with this little device, including Netflix, Spotify, Audible, and Zoom.

For casual TV watching and music listening, the Fire HD 8's screen and speakers prove to be a solid device that can do all the basics. It also has a USB-C port, so it can be charged with the same cable as a new laptop. Still, given the HD 8's spectacular battery life, you won't need to refuel often. This is also true of the Fire HD 10, which has a larger screen (and similar specs).
