AMD Zen3 Event Live Stream: How to Watch Ryzen5000reveal Live

After months of anticipation, the big day has finally arrived for AMD to introduce the Zen 3 processor to the world. The chip giant's Zen 3 architecture, which is expected to be featured in the new AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs, introduces a new, more efficient design that could bring significant performance gains for both gaming and everyday productivity.

And AMD will reveal the full extent of what upgrades Zen 3 will deliver at a special Zen 3 event today (October 8) at 9:00 AM (12:00 PM CST). The Zen 3 showcase, the first of AMD's two major events this month, will focus on the latest AMD CPU lineup before revealing the highly anticipated Radeon RDNA 2 graphics card (and Big Navi).

Ready to see what's next for Zen 3 and the AMD Ryzen 5000 series? Here's how to watch this big event live.

The AMD Zen 3 event starts today (October 8) at 9am PT/12pm ET and can be viewed on AMD's official YouTube channel. The live stream, "Where Gaming Begins," is embedded here:

As outlined by our friends at PC Gamer, the Zen 3 architecture could bring a move to a new and improved 7-nanometer manufacturing process, in a smaller and more efficient design potentially delivering better performance.

Regarding performance gains, Forrest Norrod, GM of AMD's Datacenter and Embedded Solutions Business Group, said that Zen 3's gains are "roughly in line with what you would expect from a completely new architecture." He stated. If the leap from Ryzen 2000 to Ryzen 3000 is any indication, we could see performance gains of roughly 15%.

As for pricing, the new line of Ryzen CPUs is expected to be competitively affordable, similar to the company's modus operandi. Also, Intel's Rocket Lake CPUs are scheduled to launch early next year, which could be an ace in the hole for Team Red. We should know much more about Zen 3 once the official events begin.
