HP Spectre x360 14 Release Date, Pricing, Specifications, and Features

The new HP Spectre x360 14 aims to offer users the best of both worlds by capturing the vertical size of a 15" display in a sleek 13.5" frame. This new laptop is the first Spectre x360 to feature a 3:2 aspect ratio for increased vertical viewing space, a comprehensive and compact all-in-one keyboard, and a beautiful jewel-like cut design.

With its large display, impressive chassis, 11th generation power, and the promise of 17 hours of battery life, the HP Spectre x360 could be one of the best laptops of the year when it launches this fall. Here's everything you need to know.

The HP Spectre x360 14 will be available this month starting at $1,199; it will be available on HP's website in October and at Best Buy in November.

HP's Spectre laptops tend to be the hottest products in the field, and the x360 14 is no exception. The laptop has a stunning jeweled design with unique hexagonal corners (including the USB-C port) that make the laptop look sleek and futuristic.

It also comes in a variety of attractive color options, including Nightfall Black with Copper Luxe accents, Poseidon Blue with Pale Brass accents, and Natural Silver. And at 11.75 x 8.67 x 0.67 inches and weighing 3 pounds, the HP Spectre x360 14 should be easy to carry from the living room to the home office for conference calls.

Other design highlights include an all-in-one keyboard with dedicated hotkeys for easy access to privacy and media controls. And with two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one SuperSpeed USB Type-A port, and a headphone jack, most of your connectivity needs are covered. [The Spectre x360 14 features the first 3:2 ratio display in the x360 series, offering a 13.5", 3000 x 2000 OLED screen. The notebook's Adaptive Color feature allows the x360 14 to automatically adjust brightness and color based on the surrounding environment, and HP Display Control allows users to select different viewing options for photo editing, video viewing, etc.

Like many new laptops, the HP Spectre x360 is built for the Zoom era. The laptop features AI noise reduction, which can automatically mute unwanted background noise during important video calls. Speaking of the camera, there is a dedicated camera shutter button that makes it easy to hide the HP True Vision 720p HD IR camera when not needed.

The HP Spectre x360 14 has a battery life of up to 10 hours 30 minutes with mixed use and 12 hours 15 minutes with video playback. We're eager to see how well it holds up in our in-house battery test of continuous web surfing over Wi-Fi; the Dell XPS 13 lasted nearly 13 hours in our tests, so we're looking forward to seeing how HP's latest model compares.

With its unique large display, impressive design, and many features for productivity and security, the HP Spectre x360 14 may be one of the best laptops this year for staying productive at home. We look forward to seeing it go head-to-head with popular products from Dell, Apple, and Lenovo in the coming weeks.
