Google Pixel 5 killer feature revealed — iPhone12 can not beat this

This is innovation The new Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 4a 5G are chock full of upgrades, from 5G connectivity to powerful new camera features. However, there is one killer feature that I would like to see in all phones, including the upcoming iPhone 12.

The Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G include a new Google Assistant feature called "Hold for Me" based on Google's machine learning capabilities. This is the same type of intelligence that enables Google Duplex, which allows AI to make reservations on your behalf.

Google did not go into details at the Google event, but the gist is as follows. Hold for Me will stand by for you when you're on hold with a toll-free number; Google Assistant is smart enough to know when the person on the other end of the line returns to the phone; and Google Duplex is smart enough to know when the person on the other end of the line returns to the phone.

During a call, you will see a prompt that says, "Please put Assistant on hold and wait." Then simply tap the "Hold" button.

When someone returns to the call, the prompt "Someone's waiting to talk to you" will pop up on the screen.

To return to the call, simply tap the large "Return to call" button in the center of the screen. It looks very simple.

With iOS 14 already released, we already know about the Siri enhancements, and we do not expect the iPhone 12 software to match this feature of the Pixel 5, at least at this time.

Since this is a preview feature, Google states that Hold for Me may not be able to detect all pending scenarios. Overall, however, this appears to be a big win for consumers who don't like to wait around for technical support or customer service.
