The launch of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G looks Imminent — here's the proof

The OnePlus Nord N10 5G may be the successor to the original OnePlus Nord.

The oneplus.nord Instagram account posted the following image of an artistic rendition of the OnePlus logo with the caption "#ComingSoon."

No details other than the hashtag are available, but the fact that it is a oneplus.nord account and not a regular OnePlus account is worth noting. Even if it is not the new device we are expecting, it is clear that something is on the way.

The first Nord was released this past August, and as good as it is, it is not available for purchase in the US. For that reason we are particularly interested in the Nord N10.

The N10 uses the Qualcomm-designed Snapdragon 690 chipset instead of Nord's 765G and is rumored to be slightly less powerful than the original Nord. However, the N10 will be 5G-enabled, feature a nearly identical 6.44-inch FHD+ 90Hz display, and have four rear cameras consisting of a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and two more 2MP sensors.

Despite these rather impressive specs, the price is expected to be cheaper than the Nord, which sells for roughly $500; the Nord N10 will likely be in the $400 range, similar to the iPhone SE and Google Pixel 4a, and is a premium important price point for mid-range smartphones from manufacturers.

The OnePlus 8T is a refresh of the company's flagship launched earlier this year and will be fully revealed on October 14. This is a great opportunity to show off the Nord N10 5G as well, but perhaps OnePlus wants to give both models some breathing room by announcing them separately.

Let's not forget the OnePlus Clover. This is supposed to be OnePlus' first foray into the budget market, and an even cheaper phone. According to one big leak, it will have a large 6.5-inch display, a 6,000 mAh battery, three rear cameras, and a Snapdragon 460 chipset.
