Windows10 is about to get a huge upgrade for gamers

The next update to Windows 10 appears to help gamers by making it easier to improve performance while gaming. Traditionally, if a game was running less smoothly, the best course of action was to quit the game, close other applications, or change the settings in Windows 10 itself.

But no one wants to take such steps, especially when losing every second to fix the problem is as dangerous to your success as the slowdown in game speed itself. So Windows Latest reports that Microsoft is planning to eliminate the middleman.

According to the site, a new resource menu, much like the Task Manager, will appear in the Xbox game bar in Windows 10. The game bar appears by selecting Windows + G. The new resource section looks like a speedometer and appears as the third item from the end of the screen shared by the latest Windows

The resource manager will show CPU, RAM, GPU, and disk speed consuming applications and divides applications by visibility level. You can also sort applications by these categories if you believe that your gameplay performance issues are confined to certain areas.

Doing so will allow you to see which applications you know are running, along with any background processes or Windows system-level executables that are quietly consuming resources.

A simple X to the right of each application or process allows you to easily terminate resource-intensive applications and get back in the game.

Making the Xbox Game Bar a more powerful part of the gaming experience is a solid way for Microsoft to keep the PC a strong pillar of the gaming environment. And this move comes at a time when the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S continue to steal the oxygen in the room.
