How to change the default app in IOS14

iOS 14 opens up a world of customization options that many thought might never come to the iPhone. While the ability to create custom iPhone widgets and app icons has garnered the most attention for its dramatic visual impact, another welcome addition is the ability to choose new default apps for the web browser and email client.

Safari and Apple Mail have many fans, but those who prefer other options have had to endure the fact that when they click on a link to a website or compose an email, they are redirected to the system's default app. iOS 14 has finally freed users from this dilemma will finally be freed from and it will be quick and easy to set your favorite email or browser as your new default app.

If you haven't updated to iOS 14 yet, it's step zero and we have a handy guide showing you how to download iOS 14. once you've updated to iOS 14, simply follow these simple steps and your browser and email app will be selected as your default

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. [Scroll down to the app you wish to use as your default browser and select it.

3. Tap the Default Browser app and select the app from the list. (If you do not see the app in this list, make sure you have updated to the latest version.
