Apple Watch 6 Solo loop does not fit? You can finally return it

If your Apple Watch 6 Solo Loop does not fit, you can now return it without having to send back a new Apple Watch. Previously, Apple's policy required that the Apple Watch with the incorrectly sized band be sent back before receiving a replacement.

Apple announced the Solo Loop and Braid Solo Loop along with the Apple Watch 6 last week, touting that both are "soft, stretchy," and "designed for ultra-comfort." However, the Solo Loop is available in a total of 12 different sizes, and customers seem to be having a hard time finding the right size. Yes, even with the printable measurement tool Apple offers online.

While there are only nine Solo Loop sizes available for each Apple Watch size (it should be noted), some people have had to return the Solo Loop that was included with their Apple Watch 6 purchase.

The Solo Loop option that came with the Apple Watch 6 I reviewed did not fit me at all, despite its obvious elasticity. I quickly reverted to the classic Sport band, but I can't say I'm interested in finding my proper size until I've actually tried on the entire series.

Of course, it's a shame to get this kind of product at a time when you can't go to a store and try on a couple of sizes like you would buy shoes. At the very least, if you are buying shoes online, you need to know your foot size at this point. The Solo Loop that fits is an entirely new product, and Apple uses a proprietary sizing system.

At least Apple is responding to this predicament; MacRumors reports that Apple has changed its return policy to allow for Solo Loop exchanges. According to the site, the policy was changed between Wednesday and Thursday.

If you are unhappy with your Solo Loop or Braid Solo Loop and want to keep using your Apple Watch while you exchange it (which is inevitable since the Apple Watch 6 has a 4.5/5 star review), Call customer service. A representative should be able to process your return under the new policy.
