Amazon has unveiled the all-new Amazon Echo Show 10, a rotating smart display that follows your movements and adjusts its orientation accordingly.

Unlike the Amazon Echo Show 8 and the even larger Amazon Echo Show (2nd generation), the $249.99 Amazon Echo Show 10 looks like a tablet attached to last year's Amazon Echo (3rd generation).

The 10-inch adaptive HD display functions like previous Echo Show products, providing a means to control smart home devices, access streaming content, step-by-step recipe instruction, and video chat. However, a 13MP wide-angle camera will also be used to track your movements and keep you in the center of the frame. [This is because Google Nest Hub Max ($229) and Facebook Portal ($199) have similar features. Unlike its competitors, however, the Echo Show 10 physically faces you.

The Echo Show 10's brushless motors should also limit the noise generated by its rotation. Meanwhile, dual tweeters and woofers firing from the front will play the sound behind Alexa and your tunes.

Of course, this tracking feature can be disabled and the camera can be hidden with a physical shutter.

The Amazon Echo Show 10 cannot be pre-ordered like the Amazon Echo and Amazon Echo Dot, but the company says it will arrive in time for the holiday season.
