Based on the Galaxy S20 FE's specs and features, and all the leaked information about the iPhone 12, Samsung should have some significant advantages over Apple's value-priced flagship and could be one of the best phones of the year It has the potential to be one of the best phones of the year.

The regular iPhone 12 will reportedly come in two sizes: 5.4" and 6.1"; the 5.4" model may be called the iPhone 12 mini. Those who prefer a larger display may therefore be attracted to the 6.5-inch Galaxy S20 FE. More importantly, Samsung's device offers a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gameplay.

All iPhone 12 rumors suggest that Apple will include two rear cameras on the regular iPhone 12 model. And only the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro will feature a telephoto lens; the Galaxy S20 FE has a 12MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, plus an 8MP telephoto lens. It also has a true 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom. The Galaxy S20 FE will be one of the best camera phones at this price.

The Galaxy S20 FE has a 4,500 mAh battery, which is larger than the more expensive Galaxy S20 (4,000 mAh) and the same size as the Galaxy S20 Plus. iPhone 12 leaks indicate that the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 will have a 2,227 mAh battery, and the 6.1-inch model will have a 2,815 mAh battery.

Apple may be able to even the score with its more efficient 5nm A14 Bionic chip. However, Samsung has the advantage, at least on paper. However, based on the specs, the Galaxy S20 FE could make our best smartphone battery life list.

The Galaxy S20 FE comes with a fairly robust 128GB of storage for $699, but you can augment that with the phone's microSD card slot. The device supports cards up to 1TB, so you don't have to rely solely on the cloud to store photos, videos, and other files.

The iPhone 12 is expected to feature the same 12MP front-facing camera as the iPhone 11. Samsung, on the other hand, has included a 32MP selfie camera in the Galaxy S20 FE. While megapixels do not determine overall image quality, users will see sharper results with Samsung phones.
