Google Pixel5 has been completely leaked — here is the final design and specifications

The Pixel 5's official debut is September 30, but who wants to wait? A huge leak has revealed what Google's new flagship phone looks like, along with virtually all the specs you could ask for.

The leak comes from German tech site WinFuture, which has apparently obtained a full set of details about the phone. For starters, the Pixel 5 reportedly supports HDR content and features a 6-inch flexible OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels, 432ppi density, and a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.

While this is not 120Hz, the Pixel 5 should surpass the 60Hz that is reportedly planned for the iPhone 12. iPhone 12 Pro could have a 120Hz panel, but if so, it would be priced significantly higher than the Pixel 5.

As for components, the site claims that the Pixel 5 will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G octa-core system-on-chip (also found in the LG Wing, OnePlus Nord, and LG Velvet), which is consistent with previous rumors and leaks.

WinFuture only has rendered images of a black Pixel 5, but we have recently seen news that a green Pixel 5 is also in development.

So what about the Pixel 5's camera, WinFuture claims that the Pixel 5's main camera is a 12.2MP Sony sensor with an aperture of ƒ/1.7 (same as the Pixel 4). This camera can record videos up to 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps.

As rumored, this Pixel 5 leak shows a second rear camera with a wide-angle lens, replacing the Pixel 4's telephoto lens. This is presumably done to reduce the manufacturing cost of the phone. This sensor is a 16BP with an aperture of ƒ/2.2.

The selfie cam is an 8MP sensor with an aperture of ƒ/2.0 (also the same as the Pixel 4).

The WinFuture article lists both a 4000mAh internal battery and a 4080mAh battery, so we assume one of these is a typo. A previous Pixel 5 leak claimed that the model's battery was 4000mAh; WinFuture claims that the included power supply allows for fast charging via USB-C, up to 18 watts.

The Pixel 5's "casing" is said to be made of 100% recycled aluminum and is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Other minor specs include a pair of stereo speakers, three microphones, dual-band gigabit WLAN wireless, spectral and flicker sensors, Bluetooth 5.0, LTE and 5G. Note: WinFuture only shows Sub-6 5G radios, but this may not preclude mmWave 5G, as this is a US-specific format.

The actual Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will finally be unveiled at a Google event on September 30.
