The OnePlus 8T, the anticipated follow-up to the OnePlus 8 launched earlier this year, is getting some major changes. Newly leaked specs show super-fast charging, a better processor, and a design inspired by the lower-priced OnePlus Nord.

These leaked specs come from Pricebaba, which worked with phone leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka "Onleaks") to publish a fairly complete report on what's coming in the OnePlus 8T. Pricebaba says this information is based on internal schematics, stating.

Perhaps the biggest change coming to the OnePlus 8T will be faster charging. According to the report, the new model will support 65W charging, a big leap from the 30W charging of OnePlus' current models.Warp Charge 30T technology in the OnePlus 8 saw a depleted phone rise to 68% after 30 minutes of charging.OnePlus 8T's rumored 4 ,500 mAh battery, one can only imagine how a 65W charger would work.

OnePlus usually chooses to put the best processor in its flagship phones, and it is the Snapdragon 865 Plus, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 865 found in the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro this spring. The Snapdragon 865 Plus has a faster CPU core clock and faster graphics rendering. According to spec reports, OnePlus will offer 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in the OnePlus 8T.

On the design front, the curved look of the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will be replaced by a flat-edge screen favored by the OnePlus Nord. 8T will feature a 6.55-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This is the refresh rate OnePlus introduced with the OnePlus 8 Pro, while the standard model 8 had 90 Hz.

The camera module moved to the left side of the OnePlus 8T shares much in common with the OnePlus 8, matching the model's 48MP main sensor and 16MP ultra-wide lens; the OnePlus 8T raises the macro lens to 5MP (2MP on the OnePlus 8) and adds a portrait sensor.

Pricebaba's report does not mention a Pro version of the OnePlus 8T. Earlier reports suggested that OnePlus would discontinue the OnePlus 8T Pro this time around, but leaker Evan Blass recently pointed to leaked device guides for a number of OnePlus devices, including the 8T Pro.

OnePlus typically launches two flagship models each year, with the T-model handset coming six months after the release of the first flagship model; the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro debuted in April, so October from this emerging phone maker new phones will be released on schedule.
