Premier League Live Stream: How to Watch the 2020-21 English Premier League Online

Premier League live streaming is back. It may seem like the Premier League season ended just a few days ago, but it was actually the end of July: will Liverpool defend its first top-flight title in 30 years as the 2020-21 season gets underway? Or will Pep Guardiola's Manchester City return to the top of the league after an offseason?

That is not the only question looming as the English Premier League gets underway. Chelsea and Manchester United are preparing for a lengthy title challenge, while Arsenal and Tottenham are hoping to return to the Premier League's top four. Leeds United are back in the Premier League after a 16-year absence and hope to stay for a while. Other newly promoted sides West Bromwich Albion and Fulham will have a tough time avoiding relegation.

The Premier League season opens with Arsenal taking on Fulham on Saturday, September 12 at 7:30 a.m. EDT (4:30 p.m. PT). Other opening weekend matchups at the top of the standings are Liverpool vs. Leeds (Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET), Spurs vs. Everton (Sunday at 11:30 p.m. ET), and Brighton vs. Chelsea (Monday at 3:15 p.m. ET).

Lots of matches to watch this weekend. And with more ways to live stream the Premier League, there are more matches than ever to watch at the start of the season. Here's where you can watch Premier League matches and what subscriptions and services you'll need to track the games.

For example, if there is a Premier League match you want to stream, it may not be available wherever you are. That's when a virtual private network (VPN) can help: with a VPN, you can pretend that you are surfing the Internet from somewhere else and watch a live stream that would not be available in your area.

If you're not sure which VPN service to use, don't worry. We tested a variety of options to find the best VPN, and we think ExpressVPN is the best choice; ExpressVPN offers great speed and excellent customer service.

American viewers will want to familiarize themselves with NBC, as NBC is the television network that has the rights to broadcast the Premier League in the United States. Every weekend, Premier League games are broadcast on NBC or the NBCSN cable channel.

In previous seasons, matches not broadcast on NBC or NBCSN were included in NBC Sports Gold, a subscription streaming service available to anyone with or without cable television. That will change for the 2020-21 Premier League season. Additional games are now available on Peacock Premium, a paid tier of the newly launched Peacock streaming service.

According to NBC, more than 175 Premier League matches will be available on Peacock Premium between now and the end of the season in May 2021. So it is definitely an option for soccer fans to consider.

All games broadcast on NBC or NBCSN will be streamed on the NBC Sports website or the NBC Sports app (Android and iOS). However, these options require logging in with a cable or satellite provider, so cord cutters will need to find another way to watch the Premier League.

A subscription streaming TV service could be used. The cheapest option is Sling TV, which includes NBCSC in its Blue package of channels; Fubo.TV is a bit more expensive but includes more channels in its monthly package.

In the UK, Sky Sports and BT Sport provide the bulk of Premier League coverage. However, more Premier League games will be broadcast on TV this season because of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has banned stadium viewing. That means some matches can be streamed live on BBC and Amazon Prime.

All 28 Premier League games in September will be televised.

However, to watch the majority of Premier League games, you will need to subscribe to either Sky Sports or BT Sport (or both). You can sign up for a Sky Sports package, and Now TV sells Sky Sports passes on a daily basis (£9.99) or monthly (£33.99). pounds) or monthly (£33.99). In a current promotion, monthly passes are discounted to £25 if you commit to a year's subscription.

As for BT Sport, you can sign up for either package to watch Premier League coverage. Currently, there is also a streaming-only option called the BT Sport Monthly Pass for £25.

Streaming the Premier League is very easy in Canada, where DAZN has all the coverage. Signing up for the service entitles you to a one-month free trial to watch the Premier League for the 2020-21 season. After that, the DAZN subscription is $20 per month or $150 per year.
