Amazon Black Friday Date Revealed — and it's earlier than you think

Amazon's Black Friday 2020 event this year will reportedly run for an entire month, but new leaked information has revealed the start date.

The information comes from Tamebay (via TechRadar), a news outlet for Amazon Marketplace retailers. According to them, the first part of the event will run from October 26 through November 19.

Then, for the week leading up to November 27 (Black Friday), it is speculated that Amazon will have something else in store, and then a few days after that, Cyber Monday.

If that doesn't seem like enough of an opportunity to snag an Amazon bargain, expect Amazon's belated Amazon Prime Day at the beginning of October. This big sale, usually held in the summer, was canceled to avoid overburdening Amazon employees when they were already very busy handling extra deliveries to the incarcerated.

The date for Prime Day 2020 is less certain, but leaked sources believe it will be either October 5 or October 12, both Mondays. All that is certain is that Amazon has confirmed that the event will take place in the fourth quarter of this year. It is easy to guess that the event will take place before the big Black Friday sales begin.

But Black Friday is not just for Amazon. Many other major retailers will also have deals. Walmart, in particular, is about to launch its own subscription service, Walmart Plus, which is cheaper than Amazon Prime, so watch for that.
