The iPhone 12 is about to go on sale, and we have received comprehensive information on the final specs and pricing for all four models.

This information comes from twitter leaker Komiya, and while there are no major surprises, there are a few things that stand out. These include the fact that only the 5.4" iPhone 12 will have a smaller notch and that all new iPhones, not just the Pro model, will support 5G millimeter wave.

According to Komiya, starting with the 5.4-inch iPhone 12, it will have a Samsung OLED display, A14 processor, 4GB of RAM, 12MP wide and ultra-wide cameras The iPhone 12 is said to be priced at $699 for the 128GB model and $799 for the 256GB model.

In another leak, Komiya claims that the new iPhone 12's 12MP camera will have a larger sensor. So while it will not have the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra's 108MP camera, it is expected to have better overall image quality and better Deep Fusion for enhanced detail.

We are a bit skeptical of this leak because the leaker does not say why the notch on the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 is smaller and not on other models. In any case, we expect an aluminum body.

Moving on to the iPhone 12 Max, it has a 6.1-inch OLED display (made by LG or Samsung) and all the same specs as the 5.4-inch model. However, according to Komiya, the 128GB version will cost $799 and the 256GB version will cost $899, due to the $100 premium for the larger screen.

The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro should have several upgrades over the iPhone 12 Max, including a Super Retina XDR display with 10-bit color depth, 6GB of RAM, and a telephoto camera paired with a LiDAR scanner. According to previous leaks, the LiDAR scanner should not only improve camera performance, but also enhance the augmented reality experience.

Like previous Pro models, the iPhone 12 Pro should have a stainless steel body, but unfortunately if this leak proves to be true, the notch will be the same size as before.

Pricing for the iPhone 12 would start at $999 for 128GB and go up to $1299 for 512GB.

Last but not least, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have all the same specs as the iPhone 12 Pro, but will boast a larger 6.7-inch display. Leaked prices are $1,099 for 128GB, $1,199 for 256GB, and $1,399 for 512GB.

Unfortunately, Komiya has said nothing about whether the iPhone 12 Pro model will have a 120 Hz display. Leakers and industry insiders have gone back and forth on whether Apple can make this happen in time.

There are also questions about the price. While nearly identical to last year's models, just last week another leak said that the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro are expected to cost $50 to $100 more than the previous models due to the addition of 5G.

Apple is not expected to release the iPhone 12 until October, and the iPhone 12 Pro model may not be available until November, to shift the release schedule. As for Apple's iPhone 12 event, it will likely take place in early October, but we will have to wait and see.
