Bill and Ted have reached middle age and are fathers to teenage daughters. Their ordinary lives are disrupted when a visitor from the future warns them that they must write a song to save the world and the entire universe. With the help of their daughters, historical figures, and legendary musicians, they create a song that will bring harmony to the universe.
