The new WhatsApp update will solve this big annoyance

WhatsApp has added a camera button to the sharing options on Android devices.

WABetainfo has released the latest beta version (2.20.198.9) of WhatsApp. In previous beta versions, this button was restored and removed again, but hopefully it will remain this time.

Android's current share menu has six buttons, none of which are cameras; the same is true of the iPhone, except that there is no "audio" option and the interface design is a vertical menu with fewer colorful buttons.

The Android beta adds a camera button to this interface, replacing the "Room" button that previously allowed users to set up video chats via Facebook Messenger. There have also been small updates to the button design to make it more consistent.

It makes sense to avoid having two buttons with the same function in the application. Additionally, having seven options in the menu leaves wasted space in the pop-up sheet. However, users who enjoyed the ability to quickly snap and send photos should be pleased to see this change.

Since this is still a beta version, it will be some time before these changes are reflected in the stable version of WhatsApp. We will know for sure when the next update is posted to the Google Play Store. The last update was released on August 17 and just added upgraded filters to stickers, so the next update is likely a few weeks away.
