Apple has gone color-crazy for iPhones in the past, and these latest iPhone 12 renderings show us what could be if the company embraces the candy-colored exuberance this fall. The images are based on recent leaks and attempt to visualize the rumored 5.4-inch iPhone.

These images are by Swedish tech site svetapple.sk, which is having fun trying to visualize the upcoming iPhone. According to the site, the notch at the top of the display is "about 1/7th smaller than it is now," and Svetapple notes that it would probably not be apparent at first glance on a 5.4-inch iPhone.

Instead, a larger sized iPhone, such as the expected 6.7" Pro Max iPhone 12, would likely look noticeably different on the front of the display (but Svetapple does not provide examples of them).

The really big (or rather slim) point to note is that the bezel size could be significantly slimmer. The article notes that OLED technology will allow Apple to shrink the left and right bezels, which had to be wider due to the limitations of LCD panels.

The color palette seen here is the wildest part of these renderings. While we have seen all these colors in the iPhone 11, svetapple has used very strong versions of both green and purple. And honestly, we wish Apple would use these hues.

We currently anticipate four iPhone 12 models: the $699 5.4-inch iPhone 12, the $799 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, the $1,049 iPhone 12 Pro with 6.1-inch display, and the $1,149 6. 7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max.

All four devices should feature Apple's new A14 Bionic processor and 5G connectivity, but the iPhone 12 Pro will have a third camera (telephoto) along with a LiDAR sensor for improved augmented reality performance and photo and video tricks lens) will likely be added. iPhone 12 Pro models may not offer a 120 Hz display refresh rate, according to the latest rumors.

The iPhone 12 will likely be unveiled slightly later than the usual early September announcement, as Apple itself has confirmed that it is behind schedule. Many rumors and predictions suggest that at least some versions will be unveiled in October, but recent leaks suggest that Apple is already preparing a major launch event.
