Samsung's Galaxy S20 Fan Edition may be a less powerful version of the phone maker's flagship S20 model. However, according to the latest S20 Fan Edition leaks, one area where Samsung has not skimped is the inclusion of a variety of color options.

Evan Blass, an expert on cell phone leaks, posted images of six different Galaxy S20 Fan Edition models in a rainbow of colors. In addition to traditional options like silverish white and dark blue, the S20 Fan Edition options include red, peach, mint, and light purple.

This is a far cry from the limited color options available in the main Galaxy S20 lineup. In the U.S., customers can choose from Cosmic Gray, Cloud Blue, and Cloud Pink. For the Galaxy S20 Plus, the Cloud Pink option was eliminated in favor of Cosmic Black, while the Galaxy S20 Ultra offered a bland choice of Black and Gray.

For whatever reason, handset makers tend to challenge colors more with less expensive models. The iPhone 11, for example, offers a choice of six colors, as does the iPhone XR.

The price of the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is unknown, but it will certainly be below the standard S20 price of $999. One rumor out of Korea puts the price of the Fan Edition model at about $750. [The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is expected to feature a Snapdragon 865 processor, three rear cameras, and a 4,500mAh battery.The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will replace the Galaxy S10 Lite, Samsung's flagship model and will be a lower-priced option for those unwilling to pay a four-figure price.
