Drake Releases New Single Laugh Now Cry Later – How to Stream Now

Drake has released a new single, "Laugh Now Cry Later," featuring Lil Dirk. The song is off his forthcoming album, Certified Lover Boy. And not only did he release the song, he also produced a music video for "Laugh Now Cry Later". In these pandemic times, we are so lucky to get new music from Drake.

Drake announced the song and music video in an Instagram post on Friday, August 14. Laugh Now Cry Later off my next studio album CERTIFIED LOVER BOY," he wrote, and posted a link to the music video.

Earlier this week, rumors circulated that Drake would team up with Bruno Mars on a new single. Instead, the Canadian rapper decided to go his own way. "Laugh Now Cry Later" is Drake's first major single since April's "Toosie Slide." For the song, he shot a TikTok-ready music video, which he shot while sequestered in his Toronto home.

"Certified Lover Boy" is Drake's sixth studio album and follows the release of his mixtape Dark Lane Demo Tapes in May.

In February, at a Toronto Raptors-Phoenix Suns game, Drake previewed the new album, saying it was "more concise" than 2018's Scorpion.

"That's why I made the last album a big volume, two sides, 20-something songs, that's a lot of songs. With this album, I think we're going to be more realistic, more concise," he said.

The music video begins at the Nike headquarters in Oregon. It then shows Drake buying Nike products. Basketball player Kevin Durant, football player Marshawn Lynch, and Odell Beckham Jr. also make cameo appearances.

Laugh Now Cry Later is available on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, and other major streaming platforms.
