Windows 10 update gets much less frustrating with this feature

Microsoft developed Windows 10 as an ever-evolving operating system. Updates range from major seasonal updates that add new features and redesign parts of the OS to numerous security patches and tweaks. However, it can be difficult to keep track of all the changes.

However, the new 20190 build of the OS for Windows 10 Insider Preview solves that problem by providing a new post-update experience.

"We know it's not always clear what has changed in a major update or how you can learn about and try out new features and improvements. This means that updates can feel fruitless and time-consuming for you, and we want to change that," explained Brandon LeBlanc, Senior Program Manager for the Windows Insider Program.

"After the major Windows 10 feature updates are installed, we will introduce a new first-run experience via the Tips app that highlights the most exciting changes on your PC. After installing this build, Insiders will see the Tips app launch highlighting some of the latest new features from the latest Insider Preview build of the Dev Channel."

This move is not as big a deal as the upcoming changes that will revolutionize the way we copy and paste. But it should help bring to the surface many new features that Windows 10 users might otherwise be unaware of.

Speaking of making things easier, Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20190 also includes an improved It will also bring a Graphics Setting experience. This is another small change that may not seem like much use to some, but for those with multiple GPUs on their computers, this addition may be a boon.

With Windows 10 adding a variety of features, including the ability to run Android apps within DexTop, the operating system continues to expand its feature set in interesting ways. Let's hope Microsoft continues to squash even the biggest bugs.
