Samsung Galaxy Note 20 completely leaked right before launch — here it is

If you can't wait for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 to be announced later today, here's one more leak to whet your appetite.

Here are a number of videos and photos of both the Galaxy Note 20 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra posted by Evan Blass on Twitter.

His leaks also show the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Tab S7, which you can see in detail here.

First, let's take a look at the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra 360 rotations. These clips show off all the different colors, with still images that help show the size difference between the standard model's 6.7-inch frame and the Ultra's 6.9-inch design.

The second video briefly shows some of the key features of the Note 20 series. For example, the "Camera" application can be seen in use. This shot seems to showcase, among other things, the new Pro Video mode, a new option that gives the user more control over how the video is recorded, and the option to automatically create a "highlight reel" by combining elements from multiple clips.

If you're interested in the sensors themselves, the basic Note 20 is rumored to use a 12MP main camera, a 64MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera, with a time-of-flight sensor to help with the other three photo effects.

The Note 20 Ultra will replace the first two sensors with a 108MP main camera and a 13MP telephoto camera, which is believed to have a 5x optical zoom. Ultra will also use a laser autofocus sensor instead of a time-of-flight sensor to help take clearer pictures with the massive main camera.

The second half of the clip shows users editing documents imported from their laptops, adding drawn notes and voice recordings, and converting them to a format suitable for Microsoft Office. in this other video shared by Blass, this is shown in more detail.

Xbox Game Pass and a mobile game controller also make an appearance, and the Note 20 is apparently the first phone optimized for Xbox's cloud gaming service, Project xCloud.

At the end of the video, the Note 20's wireless DeX mode is in action. Samsung has had this desktop feature on its phones for several years, but this version does not require a special dock or wires.

Finally, we can look at a not Samsung-specific but welcome addition, Nearby Share, the newly introduced Android equivalent of iOS's AirDrop, which allows you to send and receive messages to yourself and other people's devices via Bluetooth.

Blass also presented another hands-on video to help show off the phone's design. With curved edges, a simple rectangular camera bump on the back, and a display without a notch or large bezel, this is arguably one of the best looking Samsung devices.

Some images likely show Samsung's wireless power-sharing feature. This is a reverse wireless charging feature that allows users to transfer power from the Note 20's battery to another wireless charging phone or accessory.

Rumored specs for the Note 20 include a Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset in both models, which means 5G compatibility. The regular Note 20 has 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 4,300 mAh battery, and an FHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate; the Note 20 Ultra has 12GB RAM, 256GB or 512GB storage, a 4,500mAh battery and QHD, 120Hz display with LTPO technology to provide dynamic refresh rate to maintain battery life.

The only thing left to see is for Samsung to make all these details official; the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 event starts today at 10 AM ET/7 AM GMT (3 PM UK time), and if these images and specs are solid will be worth a look.
