Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Leak Confirms Secret Weapon against iPad Pro

While we wait to see if the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 will make its official debut at Samsung's Unpacked event this week, we may have seen its packaging for the first time.

This is thanks to music producer Krisztian Viola, who shared a photo of what appears to be a box of the 5G version of the Tab S7+. We are a little surprised at the source, but Samsung likes to share units with creators to see what they can do with their products.

Viola's tweet was found because he @mentioned Max Winebach of XDA in his post and Winebach retweeted it. From the photo, we can see two features we first learned about in the leaked renderings.

First, the webcam is placed on the longer bezel instead of the shorter one, allowing the Tab S7 to support the next Zoom call. Second, if you squint, you can see that the camera bump on the back (next to the slot for the S-Pen, similar in layout to the Tab S6) sticks out a bit more than on the previous model.

Of course, the other major features glimpsed in these photos (5G capability, thinner bezel) have been rumored for some time. We can also expect a faster Snapdragon 865 Plus processor along with an enhanced S Pen.

Apple's high-end tablet has a neat way to accommodate a stylus and thankfully thin bezels, but it does not yet have 5G. We can't wait to see Samsung unveil the Galaxy Tab S7 in person and how it compares to the iPad Pro.
