Billie Eilish Will Release a New Single My Future – How to Stream It

Billy Eilish's new song "My Future" has been released, a week after the release of Taylor Swift's surprise album Folklore. Eilish also released an animated music video for "My Future."

Eilish announced the release of her new single last week, and on Tuesday the 18-year-old singer released the teaser art for "My Future." The image suggested that the song was a dreamy, pensive piece of folklore. These pandemic times seem to be inspiring some of the music industry's top artists.

Eilish first began to attract attention in 2015 when she uploaded a song called "Ocean Eyes" to Soundcloud; in 2019, she released her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? The album was Grammy Awards for Best Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. The sixth single from the album, "Bad Guy," became her first U.S. No. 1 single.

Eilish's new song "My Future" is her first release since the Bond film theme song "No Time to Die" was released in February. The song became Eilish's first UK No. 1 single.

The singer has not stated whether the song is part of Eilish's highly anticipated second album. She posted a snippet of "My Future" on Instagram and teaser art on Twitter:

Hopefully, she has collaborated again with her brother Phineas O'Connell, who often co-writes and produces Eilish's songs, about the production of "My Future" including the fact that he has collaborated again with his brother Phineas O'Connell, who often co-writes and produces Eilish's songs.

In May, Eilish teased news that she and O'Connell had written a new song together.

"We wrote a whole song. I really like it. When we wrote the song it was exactly what I wanted to say."

Eilish explained that the song is essentially about not having FOMO." I miss my really close friends, I miss people, of course, but at the same time I love this space. 'I love that we can all grow right now. I don't just want to dwell on the memories or wish I could be with other people, I want everyone to help me grow."

My Future can be heard on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

Concurrently with the single, Eilish released a music video. The animated video was produced by Australian artist Andrew Onorato.
