Emmy nominees for 2020: Here's the full list (and where to stream them)

The 2020 Emmy nominations have been announced, and the Television Academy has awarded Emmys widely, especially to streaming services; Netflix was dominant with 160 nominations, while newcomers Disney Plus and Apple TV Plus each received their first nominations for "The Even Quibi received 10 Emmy nominations! [Premium cable network HBO was second behind Netflix with 107 nominations.

The Emmy nominations announcement was a social affair, hosted by Saturday Night Live's Leslie Jones and assisted by Laverne Cox, Josh Gad, and Tatiana Maslany via video conference.

Frank Scherma, President and CEO of the Television Academy, made opening remarks referring to the "Black Lives Matter" movement and the growing awareness of representation on television. Subsequent nominations were very diverse, with blacks nominated in the top six acting categories.

The Creative Arts Emmys, previously scheduled for September 12-13, now take place virtually "over several nights in September," although no dates have been set.

The 2020 Emmy Awards ceremony is currently scheduled for September 30 in Los Angeles, but this may change due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. Jimmy Kimmel will serve as the emcee.
