Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Open Pre-order Reservations - How to Make You

August 5 is approaching, which means the debut of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is also approaching. After all, Samsung is expected to unveil its latest phablet at a virtual Unpacked event in less than two weeks.

But you don't have to wait until then to express your desire to buy Samsung's next phone. The electronics giant has begun letting potential Galaxy Note 20 owners reserve their slots for the phone.

Registering a reservation for the Galaxy Note 20 is quite simple. You can make a reservation for the "next Galaxy" on Samsung's official website and reserve your spot for when Galaxy Note 20 reservations open. Fill in your name, email address, zip code, and which wireless network you would like to be serviced on or which unlocked model you would like to purchase. Note that unless you opt out, you will likely be added to Samsung's mailing list.

Don't worry if you don't have the funds yet for what will undoubtedly be an expensive purchase, as you won't be charged anything right now; just look at the Note 20's specs and, if you decide to buy, make room to complete your pre-order. Presumably, Samsung will start taking orders right after the Unpacked event on August 5.

If you secure a pre-order slot by August 5 and follow the pre-order plan, you will receive a $50 coupon that can be used on a variety of items in the Samsung store, including tablets, PCs, wearables, and other accessories. The coupon cannot be used on the Note 20 itself, but can be used as a less expensive gift or accessory for someone for the holiday season.

Note that this is not the first time Samsung has opened pre-orders; in January 2020, the company began opening pre-order slots for buyers eager to get their hands on Samsung's Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra. Last year, the Galaxy Note 10 also had a similar pre-order window.

The Galaxy Note 20 is a massive launch for Samsung, with two models expected: the standard 6.42-inch Note 20 and the 6.87-inch Note 20 Ultra. Both models will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset, and the larger Note 20 Ultra is expected to feature a display with a dynamic 120 Hz refresh rate.
