Samsung Galaxy Note 20 revealed in 360 degree video — watch it from all angles

New images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 have appeared in the form of 360-degree GIFs. You can see this new phablet from all angles.

The image comes courtesy of Patreon by Evan Blass, who also has a still version on his Twitter page.

Assuming this GIF is accurate (it's from the usually reliable Blass, so we can be sure), it confirms many of the rumors we've heard recently about the Note 20's design. These include a flat display, a central punch hole for the front camera, a rear camera block with three cameras, and squared-off edges that help differentiate it from the Galaxy S20 series launched earlier this year.

Other rumors can be fleshed out by what is seen in this image: the Galaxy Note 20 is expected to have a 6.4-inch display with FHD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. This phablet will be larger than the standard Galaxy S20, but the S20's resolution will be QHD with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz.

As for the Galaxy Note 20's rear camera, it will consist of a 12-megapixel main sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor, with a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor useful for special effects (such as blur) and AR applications. We are told that it will also have a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor to help with special effects (such as bokeh) and AR applications.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is slightly different from this, with Samsung's best hardware. Its display has curved edges like previous models in the series, such as the Galaxy Note 10 Plus, and has a QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, which the standard Note 20 is said to lack. The Note 20 Ultra will also be larger, measuring 6.87 inches, the same size as the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

As for the Note 20 Ultra's camera, the resolution of the main sensor will be raised from 12 MP to 108 MP, and the telephoto lens will add optical zoom capability (but will be reduced in size to 13 MP.) Instead of a ToF sensor, the Note 20 Ultra will laser autofocus sensor, which should make it easier to take portrait mode photos and quick snapshots.

There are some similarities between these two Note 20 models. Both run on the same Snapdragon 865 Plus or Exynos 990 chipset (depending on where you buy the phone), and both run on 5G, making them future-proof if you plan on using them for several years.

Samsung plans to unveil the Note 20 at its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5. It will not be the only product to debut there, as the Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Tab S7 are also expected.
