Dozens of Peacock shows and movies are now available on NBC Universal's new streaming service.

Peacock TV opened to the public on July 15 (NBC Universal is owned by Comcast, so Xfinity X1 and Flex users have had the opportunity to preview it since April). The service bills itself as the only free premium ad-supported streaming service on the market.

Peacock Free offers over 13,000 hours of content, with a premium tier boasting over 20,000 hours. This includes library titles from brands such as NBC, Syfy, USA, and Universal Pictures, licensed content from third parties such as other movie studios, and Peacock Originals. This handy guide highlights some of the best shows and movies airing on Peacock right now.

"Right now" is the key word, as Peacock will continue to deliver new shows and movies well past the service's launch date. The service is heavily promoting the names of some of the biggest celebrities affiliated with the service, including Tina Fey (who is developing an original series titled Girls 5Eva to). Also in the news is Sam Esmail's reboot of "Battlestar Galactica". Other reboots/sequels of "Punky Brewster" and "Saved By the Bell" are in the works.

And the biggie coming soon is the entire series of "The Office".

Peacock Premium members can also stay up late and be the first to see Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers, as "The Tonight Show" and "Late Night" shows begin streaming at 8:00 pm ET.

Much of Peacock's content will remain on the service indefinitely, but as with any streaming service, other content comes and goes. In fact, several movies will expire shortly after the July 15 launch.
