Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Leak reveals S pen and keyboard

New renderings of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S7 have been released. And it looks like the child of the iPad Pro and Surface Pro.

The image above comes from a Patreon by prolific leaker Evan Blass and is believed to be the 11-inch Tab S7, not the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S7+. As you can see, its flat edges and thin bezels are reminiscent of the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro.

The kickstand-style back, on the other hand, may be included or sold separately, as in previous releases, and is reminiscent of Microsoft's Surface lineup.

Details about the new S Pen are still unknown, but the art assets suggest that Samsung will focus on the Tab S7 as a device for artists.

The thin bezel is consistent with what we reported earlier this week when photos of the Galaxy Tab S7 appeared on a Korean authentication site; the Tab S7 has an AKG branding on the back, and as is Samsung's wont, we expect this tablet to have a powerful speaker as well. The Tab S7 is also expected to have powerful speakers, as is Samsung's wont. [Specs-wise, the smaller Tab S7 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 chip, while the Tab S7 Plus is expected to have the 865 Plus chip, which is expected to be about 10% faster. Meanwhile, another recent report suggests that we should not expect an in-display fingerprint reader. Nevertheless, if the iPad Pro's bezel is large enough for a biometric camera, the Tab S7 should also be able to identify faces.

The Galaxy Tab S7 will likely be revealed at Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5, so stay tuned for more official details.
