OnePlus Nord's Full Specs Leaked - and they smash the iPhone SE

The entire spec list for the OnePlus Nord has been leaked, and it all points to one thing: the OnePlus Nord will be the first OnePlus Nord to be released in the United States.

The leak comes from a reliable source, Evan Blass. This information comes in the form of an image showing the specs of the "Avicii" device, which Blass claims is from an internal training presentation at OnePlus Nord. The phone itself appears to be different from the designs we have seen revealed so far, including from OnePlus itself, but the specs seem to match, with further details added in several areas.

From the top of the front, we see a 32MP main sensor and an 8MP wide (105-degree field of view) dual selfie camera. These cameras are also capable of facial recognition, but for more standard security, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The display itself is a 6.44-inch FHD (1080 x 2400) AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This display is far superior to the 4.7-inch Retina LCD screen on the iPhone SE. This is one area where Nord can grab customers' attention.

The four rear cameras are the previously rumored 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP portrait camera, and 5MP macro camera. This is three more than the iPhone SE. As for testing, we need to see if the OnePlus hardware can match the iPhone's superior imaging software.

Inside the Nord will be the already confirmed Snapdragon 765G, Qualcomm's top mid-range chipset offering 5G support. This will be combined with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of RAM.

Both of these memory specs are much higher than expected, helping to explain the OnePlus Nord's estimated price of about $500, compared to $400 for the iPhone SE. While the iPhone is certainly $100 cheaper, it comes standard with only 64GB, which may not leave much room for power users who use a lot of apps and take a lot of photos.

As for power, there is a 4,115 mAh battery and 30W charging. Both are better than the iPhone SE, which has a smaller 1,821 mAh battery and 5W charging (18W if you purchase Apple's fast charger separately). However, the Nord does not appear to support wireless charging, whereas the iPhone SE can charge wirelessly at 5W.

Other specs in this image include the Nord running on OxygenOS 10, the OnePlus flavor of Android 10, a total weight of 185 g (6.5 oz), and color options of Gray Ash, Gray Onyx, and Blue Marble

OnePlus.

OnePlus plans to unveil the Nord to the world on July 21 in a unique AR-based launch event. While we don't know what will be announced to the company as a result of the leaked revelations, it will still be interesting to see what other little tricks Nord has in store.
