Babysitters Club Season 2Netflix: Release Date, Plot, cast and more

Calling "The Babysitters Club" Season 2: ...... Are you there? Although it has not been officially announced, Netflix appears to be picking up the second installment of this acclaimed adaptation of the beloved book series by Ann M. Martin.

The Babysitters Club television show has been acclaimed for its positivity, honesty, and optimistic outlook. The series has long been eagerly awaited by fans, and the ten half-hour episodes did not disappoint. The first season updated the book's storyline in a modern way, but Christy Thomas (Sophie Grace), Mary Ann Spear (Maria Baker), Claudia Kishi (Momona Tanada), Stacy McGill (Shay Rudolph), and Dawn Shaffer (Xochitl Gomez) were quite faithful to the adventures they experienced.

So while Netflix has not officially ordered "The Babysitters Club" Season 2, it is sure to happen in the near future. But what can we expect from BSC's further adventures? Here is everything we know and our speculation based on the books.

Since Netflix has not yet ordered "The Babysitters Club" Season 2 (what are you waiting for?!) ), no release date has been set as of yet.

With the coronavirus outbreak disrupting film and television production, it is a bit difficult to predict when we will see a second season. Some films and shows will resume filming soon, but safety standards vary from project to project. Also, securing crews may be a bottleneck.

If Netflix allows "The Baby-Sitters Club" Season 2 immediately and producers can ensure a safe situation, filming could take place in late 2020 or spring 2021. There is a good chance that there will be more BSC action next summer.

Assuming that the key cast members from Season 1 will return, here is a list of who is likely to return for Season 2.

First the kids and teens:

Then the adults and parents:

Season 1 was a fairly faithful adaptation of the first eight books of The Babysitters Club. Episodes 9 and 10 were a two-part finale based somewhat (but not quite) on the super-special novel Summer Vacation at the Babysitters. The only similarities are that the BSC club members went to summer camp and became counselor apprentices and that Stacy contracted poison ivy.

The plot of "The Babysitters Club" Season 2 may have been taken from the book beginning with number 9. If there are eight regular episodes, followed by a super-special finale, they could be:

"The Ghost in Dawn's House": Dawn discovers a secret in Stony Brook's house.

Logan Likes Mary Ann: A young romance develops between the two.

Christy and the Snobs: the president of the BSC adjusts to his new wealthy neighborhood.

Claudia and the New Girl: Ashley Wyeth, an artistic transfer student, tries to convince Claudia to quit the club.

Stacy, Goodbye: Stacy's movie returns to New York City

Hello, Mallory: Junior member Mallory Pike takes Stacy's place

Little Miss Stoneybrook ... and Dawn: BSC participates in a local beauty pageant

Jessi's Secret Language: BSC junior member Jessi Ramsey takes care of a deaf boy

and the last two episodes may be based on a super special

. Perhaps "Babysitter's Winter Vacation," in which BSC members go on a school trip to Vermont and get snowed in.
