Movies of 2020-7: Everything that comes out in theaters and on demand

In earlier times, the 7th film was at the core of the summer blockbuster season. Escaping to an air-conditioned cinema was a way to beat the heat. But with the pandemic underway, many theaters remain closed, and the movie experience is shifting to streaming services and video-on-demand.

However, major theater chains such as AMC and Regal are preparing to reopen in mid-7. But there are any movies to play. In fact, yes. Two event films, Mulan and Tenet, are still scheduled to open in late May.

However, there are quite a few movies that will debut on streaming or premium video-on-demand, as the social distance rule will still be in effect. It includes high-profile titles such as Disney Plus's Hamilton movie, Apple Tv Plus's Tom Hanks World War II drama "The Greyhound" and Netflix's teen-rom-com sequel "Kiss Booth 2."
