Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Price just leaked - and it's not cheap

Leaked information on Samsung's Galaxy Watch 3 keeps coming out; the Watch's price point has been revealed, and you might want to prepare your wallet accordingly.

Serial tech leaker Evan Blass tweeted both the price point and all options for the upcoming Galaxy Watch 3. Blass did not mention a source, but he has a reputation for being a reliable tech leaker and this new deluge of information seems legitimate. This new large amount of information appears to be legitimate.

The Galaxy Watch 3 will be available in 45mm and 41mm watch face sizes and in "black titanium," black stainless steel, silver stainless steel, and bronze/gold finishes. These models will support Bluetooth or LTE connectivity. In other words, smartwatch enthusiasts will have a total of nine models to choose from, depending on the size, color, and connectivity of their choice.

But be prepared to pay quite a bit for the privilege, as Blass noted that the Galaxy Watch 3 starts at $400 and goes up to $600. Aside from smartwatches from luxury watch brands like TAG Heuer and Hublot, the Galaxy Watch 3 will be one of the most expensive mainstream smartwatches. For reference, the basic Apple Watch 5 starts at $399, but there are plenty of Apple Watch deals where you can get the Cupertino-designed smartwatch for under $300.

But while the Galaxy Watch 3 may seem pricey, it appears to offer quite a bit more for the money; it borrows a lot of technology from the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and will have many fitness-related features, including a blood pressure monitor. It will also bring back the rotating bezel for navigation and will have a larger display than previous Galaxy smartwatches. [The Galaxy Watch 3 also looks quite attractive, with a design that blends smartwatch and traditional rounded watch design. With a design that blends smartwatch and traditional rounded watch design, the Galaxy Watch 3 appears to tread a fine line between a useful high-tech device and a fashionable wrist accessory.

We expect the Galaxy Watch 3 to arrive sometime this month, so we'll probably get a better idea in a few weeks as to how it measures up against the Apple Watch.
