iPhone12 may not ship with charger - wait, what?

The latest iPhone 12 rumors have us wondering about Apple. According to a new rumor, the iPhone 12 will not include the company's EarPods headphones and may not include a power adapter.

This comes from the folks at MacRumors, who obtained a research note from a Barclays analyst. The analyst is more convinced of the lack of headphones than the power brick.

Just as Apple did away with the headphone jack, the loss of the free EarPods would be a minor annoyance for those without Lightning-enabled earbuds. However, as far as the proliferation of wireless earbuds is concerned, this will not be the end of the world.

But what if the iPhone 12 only comes with a Lightning - USB-C cable and no power brick? Unless you recently purchased a laptop, you might have to spend even more to use the included cable.

If this is true, the iPhone 12 might ship in a box that includes a USB-C to Lighting cable and the SIM card removal tool I've been losing every time I buy a new phone.

This move could be Apple's effort to reduce waste. However, the lack of a charger remains an inconvenience for many.

However, this rumor conflicts with one we reported yesterday, in which Twitter leaker White (not the one to knock it) claimed that the iPhone 12 will ship with a 20W fast charger.

Recent iPhone 12 rumors include a shockingly low $549 iPhone 12, which could be the discounted 4G version that gives the iPhone SE 2020 the title as the best phone.
