Dell XPS13 killer Leaked — meet Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano

Many companies have tried and failed to drag the Dell XPS 13 from its position as the best laptop. However, it appears that Lenovo is about to have a new challenger in the ThinkPad X1 Nano.

According to NotebookCheck, a recent GitHub driver page revealed the existence of two new ThinkPad X1 laptops: the ThinkPad X1 Nano and the ThinkPad X1 Next.

So what is the ThinkPad X1 Nano, which, as reported by Laptop Mag, was previously mentioned in a ThinkPad roadmap leak. And it could be on the market by the end of the year.

In an interview with Lenovo South Africa manager Thibault Dousso on YouTube by TechnoBook, he said the ThinkPad X1 Nano will have a 13-inch display. He also said that the ThinkPad X1 Nano will be available around November, with an emphasis on weight reduction. For some reason, however, that YouTube clip has been removed from the article.

According to an earlier report from NotebookCheck, the ThinkPad X1 Nano will be one of three new laptops powered by Intel's new 10nm Tiger Lake chip. The other two models are the ThinkPad X1 Titanium and the ThinkPad X12.

For now, the Dell XPS 13 remains the best ultra-portable laptop. The latest version offers a more immersive InfinityEdge display, a better keyboard, and a larger touchpad. In addition, the 1080p version of the laptop lasted more than 12 hours in our battery tests.

However, the ThinkPad X1 Nano may be the challenger needed to shake up the XPS 13. We'll keep you posted on other leaks as we get closer to launch.
