Doom Patrol Season 2 Release Date, trailer, cast and more

The World's Weirdest Heroes Return for Doom Patrol Season 2 The DC Comics superhero collective is back! This time, the show will air on both HBO Max and the original DC Universe. That's right, Doom Patrol Season 2 is available on both streaming services, so there is no more excuse to check out this cult favorite.

Doom Patrol follows a group of heroes who, due to tragic events, have gained superpowers and become marginalized by society. The group includes Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser) aka Robot Man, Larry Trainer (Matt Bomer) aka Negative Man, Rita Farr (April Bowlby) aka Elasti-Woman, Jane (Diane Guerrero) aka Crazy Jane, Cyborg Victor Stone (Joivan Wade).

Their leader, Dr. Niles Caulder, aka Chief (Timothy Dalton), treated them and gave them a place to live in his mansion.

In Season 1, the Doom Patrol banded together to rescue Kaulder from the omniscient, reality-bending Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk). In the process, however, they learned that the chief was harboring a very dark secret. As season two begins, the members of the Doom Patrol feel betrayed and very, very small (more on this later).

Here's everything you need to know about Doom Patrol Season 2.

She may be the most powerful and dangerous of them all, for she has the power of imagination - she can imagine any creature and it will come to life.

Doom Patrol Season 2 will consist of nine episodes. The first three episodes will premiere on June 25. The other six will air every Thursday.

The first episode is titled "Fun Size Patrol" and was written by Jeremy Carver and Shoshana Sachi.
