Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Leak reveals all 4 colors

Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 will reportedly launch on August 5, along with the Galaxy Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and Galaxy Tab S7. And now, thanks to serial leaker Jon Prosser, we know the color of Samsung's next big flagship phone.

Prosser has stated that this will be a "white/gray" version, but we are not surprised that black is an option and also white. However, Prosser stated that this will be the "white/gray" version. It is not clear whether he means that this Note 20 will have two shades or just a grayish white.

Other shades are a bit more unusual. First, there is a copper color, which one imagines is a direct callback to the "metallic copper" Note 9. The mint green shade, however, is a bit more mysterious. Samsung has made green phones before (the green S10e and S10 handsets are personal favorites), but it would be hard to call it mint. Perhaps we'll get something a little closer to the pastel shades of the green iPhone 11?

Also said to be launching soon is the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but Prosser estimates it will have just two colors to choose from: black or copper. For those who like foldable phones, it would be a much easier decision.

Of course, color is far less important than substance. The good news is that Samsung seems to be throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus to make them the best phones you can buy in 2020.

The Note 20 is of course fast, with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor (equivalent to the Exynos 992 in some markets) and 8GB or 12GB of RAM; the Note 20 Plus also features the S20 series' 120Hz screen technology and should feature LTPO technology. This would allow the refresh rate to be dynamically adjusted to save battery power.

The Note 20's camera setup is of course most likely to be improved from the Note 10, and both notes are rumored to inherit the S20 series camera technology. That is, the regular Note 20 will have a triple-array, while the Note 20 Plus will have a quad setup with a 108MP lens. Instead, it should have a dedicated focus sensor.

The biggest upgrade to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is the addition of 5G connectivity. The previous version, despite costing about $1,400, only supported 4G LTE. The new foldable phone should be more future-proof.

We should know for sure on August 5.
