Samsung's Galaxy Tab S7 is likely to be Samsung's next salvo against the iPad Pro this summer. The company's next attempt at Apple's throne could include a "plus" version of the tablet with better specs, which was recently discovered.

MySmartPrice (via TechRadar) found evidence of the upgraded Samsung tablet in an entry on the Bluetooth certification site. all devices that use Bluetooth have to be checked over to make sure they meet the Bluetooth SIG standard need to be checked over to make sure they are Bluetooth SIG compliant, and this website is often one of the last places we can see rumors of pre-release devices.

Other than the fact that the Tab S7 Plus can use Bluetooth, there are no other specs we can extract from this list.

The Tab S7 Plus did not appear out of the blue; its existence was rumored in April after SamMobile reported that the Tab S7 would come in two sizes, 11" and 12.4" The "Plus" version tends to be larger than the standard version of Samsung's products, one can reasonably assume that the Tab S7 will be an 11-inch model and the Tab S7 Plus will likely be a 12.4-inch model.

We know that the Tab S7 will likely have 5G connectivity on some models. Huawei has taken the lead with the MatePad Pro, but since Huawei does not sell its products in the U.S., Samsung has an open target in introducing 5G tablets worldwide.

The iPad Pro (starting at $799) will be the Tab S7's main competitor once it is released. Also, while the iPad Pro's Apple Pencil stylus and Magic Keyboard typing case must be purchased separately, the Tab S7 will likely include the stylus and keyboard.

However, the iPad OS is generally regarded as a much better OS for tablets than Android 10, and the A12Z chipset in the iPad Pro is more powerful than the Snapdragon 865 rumored to be in the Tab S7. This means that the iPad Pro is better suited for high-load tasks like video and photo editing.

The Tab S7 will likely be one of several devices Samsung will announce in August, when the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2 are also expected. Expect the basic Tab S7 to be priced around $700, below the iPad Pro, and to feature the same 120Hz display technology as the Galaxy S20 series.
